Amazon's cloud unit introduced Kiro, an AI-assisted coding program, aiming to transform software development. This comes shortly after Google announced hiring staff from AI coding startup Windsurf under a $2.4 billion deal and plans to enhance its Gemini AI for developers. Both Amazon and Google are advancing "vibe coding," while Microsoft updated Visual Studio Code for automated development.
